What you’ll do

As part of our dynamic finance team, you will:

• Assist in preparing financial statements through monthly closings and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Process bank statements and follow up on customer balances to ensure smooth credit control process.

• Be responsible for the follow-up and processing  of the approved purchase invoices in accounting and maintaining supplier balances 

• Manage intercompany goods workflows effectively.

• Maintain and follow-up on travel and expense applications.

• Prepare statutory and tax returns (e.g., VAT, intra-community declarations, Intrastat) to comply with local regulations.

• Handle ad hoc administrative tasks as needed, manage the electronic archive, and monitor shared mailboxes.

We are looking for someone who …

We’re seeking someone who

• Holds a  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Is fluent in Dutch (native) and English (professional efficiency).

• Has strong analytical skills, attention to details, and a passion for working with numbers.

• Can work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.

• Is hands-on, proactive, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Possesses excellent communication skills for interacting with various teams across the organization.

• Has experience with SAP – a clear advantage and knowledge of  tools such as Excel, Isabel, Exact Online is a plus.

• Is digitally savvy and enjoys working with modern applications.

• We invite applications from recent graduates with some initial experience and experienced accountants.

Your roadmap tot success

• 30 days: Get to know the team and familiarize yourself with our accounting systems.

• 60 days: Take ownership of manual payments and customer/vendor account clearing processes.

• 90 days: Manage the monthly closing for one of our companies while building sales force cases.
